Is your class schedule available on the Internet?
Because we offer classes seven days a week, there are too may classes to list online. Additionally, because the various class levels are interspersed throughout the day our schedule is constantly changing. Scheduling requires a personal touch to make sure each child is placed in an appropriate class.

What are my payment options?
We offer two forms of monthly automatic debit payment. We accept Visa or Master Card payments as well as automatic debit directly through your banking account (checking or savings). If you choose to pay through your banking account, your account will be billed a discounted rate. Tuition in Half Moon Bay and San Bruno is $83/month and in San Francisco is $88/month. We will deduct your tuition on the 5th of every month. If you sign up in the middle of a billing cycle, your tuition charges will be prorated for that month. There is an additional prorated membership fee due at the time of registration and $25.00 due every July thereafter.
How long are your sessions?
Our schedule is "perpetual", meaning that classes continue indefinitely until you wish to switch times or take a break.
How do I switch to a different day and/or time?
There are three ways to change your class: Fill out our Pre-Registration Form online, call our Booking Department at 866.896.3603, or our Online Live Support. Our Booking Managers will help you find a class that works with your new request.
How do I cancel my class?
Please complete the online Cancellation Request form. We prefer a 30-day notice for cancellation of classes, regardless of the level. But if you need to cancel immediately, we will cancel your lessons and a La Petite Baleen credit will be applied to your account for future lessons… NO REFUNDS!
If your child is about to earn his/her Gold Ribbon, please discuss with your teacher for an estimated cancellation time.
To avoid charges for the next month, please make sure that your cancellation request is submitted by the last day of the month.
What are "class consolidations"?
If a class has only one or two students enrolled, we will likely consolidate that class due to our high demand for lessons. We will call you first if your child's class needs to be consolidated to give you as many options possible.
How do I request a specific teacher?
We are unable to guarantee specific teachers. Our booking managers are familiar with all of our teachers as well as their teaching styles. All of our teachers are equally trained but bring their own individuality to the aquatic classroom. Our booking managers will make sure you find a good match for your child.
Do I need to change classes when my child earns a ribbon?
Unless your teacher or Deck Support informs you otherwise, classes tend to progress together. Therefore, you shouldn't have to change your class.
